”Cristallo II is a stallion with enormous athletic ability and exceptional scope. His first offspring in Germany look really promising and they have inherited his excellent ability.”
— Ludger Beerbaum
Cristallo II was awarded premium in Münster-Hahndorf in 2009. He followed this outstanding achievement one year later becoming the reserve champion in the young horse test, with exceptionally high scores for his gaits and rideability.
As a four-year-old he took silver at the young horse championship in Westphalia, and in 2012 he qualified for the Bundeschampionate. Cristallo II was competed with international success by Jerry Smit before Tadahiro Hayashi took over the reins in 2016.
His sire Cornet Obolensky was successfully competed by Marco Kutcher (including team gold medal in the European Championships 2011). Cornet Obolensky has produced many approved stallions and countless elite performing horses. For many years he has been listed at the top of HorseTelex ranking, offsprings earned prize money, and in the WBFSH`s “Top 10 Show Jumping Stallions”.
Cristallo II`s dam has several elite horses in her bloodline. Grand dam Profilda competed successfully up to the top level. His full brother Cristallo I also achieved international success. Grand sire Cassini I was competed internationally at Grand Prix level by Franke Sloothaak and is known to be one of the legendary sires in show jumping breeding.
