Diacondrik is sired by the Diarado son ‘Diacontinus’, who achieved a jumping breeding value of 150 and a dressage breeding value of 126 at his stallion performance test. With this dreamlike result, he led the overall ranking of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf and in all of Germany in 2013, finishing the Hanoverian stallion licensing quite rightly as a Premium stallion. With ease, outstanding ability, and an excellent jumping manner, he was more than convincing in the free jumping. This genetic talent for jumping was also accompanied by his brilliant movement in all three gaits.
Diacondrik's dam 'Cosima' is by the long standing World No1 ranked eventing sire Contendro I, who needs no introduction. He is the 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019 World #1 Eventing Sire and World #25 Jumping Sire! He is also the only sire in the world in the top 20 of the CSO and Eventing rankings, with also some international winners in Dressage.
Cosima was out of Hof Brunings great mare Hollywood, a direct descendent herself from the legendary and former world leading event sire Heraldik xx. There is no doubt that Heraldik has been the most successful sire of eventing horses ever, at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky Heraldik xx had five direct offspring. In Germany alone, there are 16 stallion sons by Heraldik, 392 broodmares and 953 offspring with sport result. At the Olympics in Hong Kong in 2008, Heraldik had two direct offspring in the Golden German Eventing team, Butts Leon with Andreas Dibowski and FRH Butts Abraxxas.
Diacondrik stands at 16.1hh and shows great scope, athleticism and talent over fences, along with displaying three impressive paces. In 2022 he made an appearance at only four years old at Your Horse Live, taking everything in his stride and demonstrated the true professional that he is. In 2023 he made his eventing debut with Oliver Townend on the eventing circuit, finishing 3rd in his first ever BE100 at only five years old. In 2024 he successfully stepped up to Novice level as a 6yo regularly in the placings and ending the season at Osberton 2*L. He will step up to 3* in 2025.
