Competition Stallions

Don Dante has an incredible pedigree that includes top stallions such as Dancier, De Niro, Donnerhall, Lancier and Espri. Don Dante’s dam, Sabrina, is by Salvano, grandsire of the famous Salinero. Don Dante has an exceptional performance record. In 2012, he was placed in all the major Young Horse Championships. In 2014, Don Dante was Medium Restricted Champion at the BD National Championships. In 2015, he was placed in the Advanced Medium Restricted and Advanced Medium Open Freestyle at the Winter Championships and in the Advanced Medium Open at the National Championships, scoring over 70%. In 2017, he won at Premier League shows in both PSG and Inter I, achieving scores of 70% +. In 2018, he won at Premier League, and competed at Hartpury CDI3* being placed 6th in the PSG and 5th in the Inter I freestyle. In 2020, he started competing at Grand Prix and was placed 3rd on this debut, followed by a 1st and a 2nd. In 2021 he continued competing in Grand Prix with two wins and a 2nd.

Don Dante’s first foals, born in 2014 show great promise, having inherited his expressive movement, good temperament and confidence. In 2018, Don Dante’s son, Don Divine, was Futurity graded elite scoring 9.5 for his trot, canter and frame. His competition debut is eagerly awaited. Other highly graded Futurity youngstock include Dixie Rose (2017)  and Dodge the Doubters (2014). Dante's Secret (2017), is competeing sucessfully, having qualified for Nationals, often scoring at 70% and above. Dante's Dream (2018) is in her first year of competition with numerous wins and is now regional qualified. Donna Danita (2019) was Champion Performance Mare at the 2024 British Hanoverian Horse Society annual Gala scoring 9/10 for her rideability. She was also at the 2024 Summer National Championships coming in 4th in the Elementary Silver Class as well as 7th in the Novice Silver Class. That day she was also presented with the Best British Bred award.

As well, as their expected dressage ability, his youngstock are also showing an aptitude for jumping. 'I'm On Fire' is out competing at BE90/100 and competed in Badminton Grassroots 2025. His son, Don Dandy and his full sister Don Darcey , have made promising starts to their eventing careers. Don Dante has also had winners in the show ring. A 2022 filly of Don Dante’s won the Supreme Hunter Championship at 11 weeks old and was commended on her spectacular temperament which is one of the main accolades for a win.
