Don Weltraum is a very exciting up and coming young stallion available in the UK.
Domino has been lightly competed, and is already showing his quality, with scores of 76+% in his International 5yo qualifiers in 2023, and placings at very competitive premier leagues, with much more to come. He shows incredible lateral suppleness, with wonderful half passes beginning to show, and is now developing his strength behind and becoming a very exciting prospect for the future. He has an incredible temperament to go alongside his talent, which is his highlight. He is now training at Advanced Medium/PSG, and proving that his talent is only growing as the work gets harder. He has an excellent walk, gaining scores of 8.5 at the premier leagues and an excellent canter with scores up to 8.0 so far. His trot has a huge amount of power and is developing further everyday with an excellent amount of front leg action, shoulder freedom but with the Weltmeyer hindleg to back it up.
He is traffic proof, lives on a busy glamping site, turned out next to mares and foals, is the same after covering, and great with all animals and children. He has been chased by dogs before and didn't even flinch. Whilst being laid back and chilled, he is still an absolute performer under saddle and showing he has the brain for the top.
Sire - Don Dante is a fabulous son of Dancier, known for passing on excellent temperaments, rideability along with looseness and elasticity in the paces. His dam, Sabrina, a daughter of the fantastic Salvano, another Grand Prix producer through and through. Don Dante successfully competed at Grand Prix and International Small Tour with great success!
Dam - Windermere is a daughter of the legendary Weltmeyer, and she is out of the wonderful producer, Hawtins foundation mare Hawtins Brentina, by Brentano. Windermere is full sister to International GP horse, Wurlizer under Alice Oppenheimer, and maternal sister to the dam of highly decorated international small tour horse and WBYCH finalist, Hawtins Lirica. The damline of Brentina goes back to share the damline with producing stallion, Keystone Rhondeo. Windermere has herself produced successful offspring, with the oldest competing well at Advanced Medium, and one having won a championship title.
Domino has already had a successful first season at stud with 80% motility each time he has collected and we are excited to see what foals are produced in 2024.
