Description

Lord Rico is a classically correct stallion whose exceptional temperament and expressive, elastic movement reflect the strength of his world-class pedigree.
His sire, Lord Leatherdale—renowned as a true “producer of champions”—has sired multiple Grand Prix and Olympic horses including Glamourdale and Everdale.
His dam, Farasha, herself a producer of Premier and Elite foals, is by the legendary Gribaldi, sire of more than 50 international Grand Prix horses such as the incomparable Painted Black and Totilas.
Lord Rico consistently stamps his foals with his superb movement, rideability, class, and presence. He has proven a versatile choice for a wide variety of mares, producing correct, athletic youngsters with outstanding trainability. Lord Rico has all annual tests and is WFFS Negative. Lord Rico has 23.44% TB blood. 
Lord Rico is exceptionally fertile, with semen available seven days a week.

Progeny

Lord Rico’s first crop of foals arrived in 2022, and both we and their owners are incredibly proud of the quality they are showing as they begin their ridden careers. Their temperament, movement, and willingness under saddle are already proving to be key attributes.
His offspring are also beginning to make an impression in the show ring, securing multiple wins including at County level.
