A proven top-class event horse, Tenareze has top 5 placings at 5*level and has more than lived up to his early promise. Star quality became apparent early on his career when he gained the achievement of winning the Young Horse World Championships at Le Lion D’Angers for two successive years as a six and seven-year-old. 

He continued his winning ways with four consecutive wins in 2015 and gradually moved up through the levels second at Millstreet 4*L in 2021, then starting his 5* campaign in 2022.

In 2023, he was fifth at the Luhmuhlen 5* in Germany and jumped clear across country at Burghley 5*. In between times, he has amassed a string of excellent results.

Tenareze’s breeding combines the gallop and stamina of thoroughbred blood with some of the most sought after Anglo Arab lines. His jump is good enough to have pursued a career in show jumping, while he also has outstanding movement and an excellent temperament. He scored 26 in the dressage at Badminton in 2023. 

A popular choice for mare owners looking for a blood sire with an outstanding temperament, Tenareze’s oldest progeny are competing throughout Europe, while his UK offspring were foaled from 2016 onwards.
