Description

Irelands most commercial stallion is now standing in England.
The very exciting stallion Womanizer continues to display his outstanding potential as a supplier of top quality competition horses. Competing and winning both Grandprix and eventing classes throughout Ireland, The UK and the USA, Womanizer is a reliable supplier of horses for sport. The 2021 World Breeding Rankings put Womanizer in 11th Place. 2021 saw him with multiple 5* progeny competing and winning on the biggest stages in both America and Europe, including Kentucky 5*, Pau 5* Osborton 4* etc etc.
Looking at the ranking list, we can see that with 5 of the sires listed higher are either deceased or no longer breeding, we can rest assured that Womanizer will continue to be among those elite stallions that the world will always revere. He was himself an ultimate competitor. Loving the sport, having so much blood and unending stamina, with sharp reflexes and super careful, he passes on so many qualities to his offspring.
He sits at 15th in the sire rankings for 2024 and offers exceptional value to the modern breeder. Womanizer is now upgraded to 5* ranking in the Irish sport horse studbook based on the results of his internaitional three day eventing progeny

Progeny

In The 2019 Top Young Horse Sires on BE Points, Womanizer ranked no. 7, behind some very old and established greats. Womanizer progeny broke the sales records at both eventing Go for Gold sales. His offspring continue to progress, winning at 4* eventing level and they represented at the highest level in Europe at Le Lion d’Angers World Championships of young event horses. In the sales his son Cornascriebe Glenpatrick competed clear in all 3 phases and went on to break all sales records in Ireland for event horses selling for €160,000, while his foals and older progeny are highly sought after.
In 2019 the 4 yr old Curraghraigue Womanizer sold for €25,000 at the Go for Gold, impressing with his beauty, blood, athletic ability and scope, plus ease of riding. Limestone Romeo, another son sold for the top price of €30,000 at the May special eventing sale in Goresbridge. Womanizer is now ranked one of Ireland's leading sires for event horses and also at the foal sales. In 2020 he had winners in the US, where Cooley Quick Silver won the Advanced at Pine Top, and in Ocala he was 7th, while MGH Heartbeat was 4th in the Prelim Horse Trial. Womanizer progeny have experienced success at international shows including Millstreet International, Tattersalls, Ballindenisk and abroad including Le Lion World Championships, Falsterbo, Italy, UK, US etc.
His son, Deelside Incognito won the 5 year old final at the Falsterbo International Show with his rider Amanda Eriksson (SWE) and now competes at 1.40 mt. While in Germany, his son Romeo, from his first crop in 2008 now competes 1 40mt GP, and he was again represented at Burghley in the Dubarry Young Horse Championship in the UK.
The 2010 mare CHF cooliser (womanizer x ramiro B) was campaigned to finish 2nd with British rider Tom McEwen in the CCI5*-L in Pau (FRA) in 2021 and flew round Burghley CCI5* for a stylish 12th place. In addition to these highlights, Womanizer has over 200 progeny out competing in SJ competitions with some of the country’s top riders during the 2018 season. Combined with many more on the eventing circuit, sees him as a successful dual purpose sire. Womanizer’s pedigree is a true testament to top Dutch performance lines with the legendary Heartbreaker being seen in combination with Burggraaf at the forefront of an outstanding dam line. Womanizer’s dam, Perina is a sister to the KWPN approved stallion and International showjumper Larino who was ridden for the Nijhof Stud with great success by Peter Geerink. In addition to this she is also a sister to the international competitor Ohio (Gabriele Ceola). A factor that displays the depth of performance genes in Womanizer’s pedigree is that his dam’s sister, Tsarina is none other than the dam of Eurocommerce Zurich who was crowned champion stallion at the KWPN stallion show in Den Bosch in 2007.
