Competition Stallions

Cevin Z’s pedigree features the outstanding bloodlines for which the Zangersheide studbook is famous with double crossed of the exceptional stallions Cor de la Bryere and Capitol I. Cevin’s sire, Coriall Z sired many top level jumping and dressage horses whilst standing at the Zangersheide stud and has continued to produce international competitors in all 3 Olympic disciplines since his sale to Brazil.

Cevin's dam Larthago was a top international showjumper in her own right and produced a string of international jumping progeny by embryo transfer. She is a daughter of Carthago Z, who competed in the 1996 and 2000 Olympics.

After a very successful jumping career as a young horse and a later return to the competition arena in Children on Horses classes with Jake Saywell, Cevin’s main focus was his breeding career. He has sired an incredible string of top performing eventers and showjumpers, who all seem to possess his fantastic temperament.

Cevin Z is a highly respected sire, often featuring at the top end of both the British Eventing and British Showjumping sire rankings. He was #11 in the WBFSH Eventing Sire World Rankings in both 2022 and 2023, with many exciting young progeny still coming through.

Following his sad death in 2020, Cevin Z remains available by good quality frozen semen only. His conception rates remain very high.
